This is hands down the most challenging project we have completed to date. This building is on a triangular site on Washington Avenue that slims down to 17’ on one end, that’s smaller than one standard parking space! We participated in negotiations with the Old Sixth Ward, TIRZ, Planning Staff and finally the Houston Planning Commission. Ground breaking was in 2016 with occupancy expected in 2017. It’s worth a drive by to see how an office building fits on such a challenging site.
